Job summary

Levick Stanley is seeking an experienced Business Systems Manager to own the organisation’s core business applications, with ERP at the heart of the role. You will drive digital innovation, governance and value from technology investments across operations, engineering, finance and IT.

The role involves managing upgrades, integrations and reporting, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to standardise processes and deliver practical technology solutions.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing business systems or ERP platforms within manufacturing, engineering or operational environments.
• Strong understanding of core business processes: finance, supply chain, manufacturing and project operations.
• Experience delivering system improvements, upgrades, integrations or transformation initiatives.
• Knowledge of data management, reporting and systems governance.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Taking ownership of the organisation’s core business applications, with ERP as the primary platform.
• Ensuring business systems are reliable, secure, supported and aligned with business requirements.
• Managing upgrades, enhancements, integrations and vendor support.
• Developing and maintaining systems governance, standards and documentation.
• Overseeing performance, user access, master data integrity and reporting capability.
• Collaborating with teams to understand operational challenges and identify improvements.
• Leading process mapping, requirements gathering and solution design.
• Driving standardisation, automation and simplification of business processes.
• Balancing configuration and customization to deliver practical solutions.
• Managing governance across SaaS and engineering/manufacturing applications.
• Establishing change control, release management and system ownership.
• Evaluating new technologies and their integration with current platforms.
