Job summary

Sheffield Forgemasters invites applications for an ERP Business Analyst on a day-rate contract based at our site in Sheffield. You will join the ERP Implementation Team to support the Infor LN ERP rollout and help move from legacy processes to standardised system-led practices.

You will analyse current processes, facilitate workshops, document as-is/to-be, perform gap analysis, and work with technical and functional teams on ERP configuration, testing, and change management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst on ERP implementations, preferably manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Proven ability to document as-is and to-be processes.
• Proven gap analysis experience moving from legacy processes to ERP-led workflows.
• Ability to work with standard, out-of-the-box ERP functionality.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with testing and change management functions.

ERP Business Analyst (Day Rate Contract)

At Sheffield Forgemasters we have an exciting contract opportunity (day rate) for an ERP Business Analyst to join our team. The contract duration will be 9 months.

This role is based at our 64-acre site, sitting in the heart of Sheffield, and will be working as part of our ERP Implementation Team.

You will support the implementation of Infor LN ERP by analysing and improving business processes, identifying opportunities for change, and helping transition the organisation from legacy ways of working to standardised, system-led best practice processes.

What you’ll be doing

• Analyse and document current and future business processes aligned with Infor LN ERP and industry best practice.
• Identify process gaps and support the transition from legacy manual ways of working to standardised, system-led processes.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and validate business solutions.
• Work closely with technical and functional teams to support process improvements and ERP configuration.
• Assist with system testing, ensuring business requirements are reflected in test scenarios and acceptance criteria.
• Support change management activities, including business readiness, user engagement and the successful adoption of new ways of working.

About You

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst on ERP implementation programmes, ideally manufacturing or heavy industry with Infor LN Cloudsuite.
• Strong experience documenting as-is and to-be business processes.
• Demonstrated experience performing gap analysis, particularly moving from manual or legacy processes to ERP-led processes.
• Ability to work effectively in an environment prioritising standard, out-of-the-box ERP functionality as opposed to bespoke functionality.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience working alongside testing and change management functions.

Successful candidates must undergo a criminal record check. Successful candidates must meet the security requirements before they can be appointed. People working with government / MOD assets must complete Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.
