Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is seeking a dedicated administrator to support HealthRoster and SSTS users within the CORE Team. You will transfer predicted and finalised shift and absence information into SSTS, supporting rostering and time and attendance systems to ensure payroll accuracy.

Based at Caledonia House in Glasgow, the role is fixed-term for 1 year, 36 hours per week, with Monday to Friday 9am-5pm. NHSGGC will assess sponsorship eligibility in line with Home Office rules.

The Role

The CORE (Centre of Rostering Excellence) Team is responsible for the delivery and support of the Board’s rostering systems, HealthRoster and SSTS. SSTS is the established time and attendance system that transfers shift and absence information to payroll and provides workforce reporting. HealthRoster supports robust eRostering, helping to align staff resources with service requirements and safe staffing legislation.

This role provides direct support to frontline HealthRoster users by transferring predicted and finalised shift and absence information into SSTS while direct interface routines are being developed.

Band 2 roles are not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes.

All roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern
  • This is a fixed term post for 1 year working 36 hours per week.
  • These hours will be worked MondayFriday, 9am5pm
  • You will be based at Caledonia House
Key Responsibilities

Providing direct support to frontline users of HealthRoster and SSTS, ensuring predicted and finalised shift and absence information is accurately transferred into SSTS. The role will support the effective operation of the Board’s rostering and time and attendance systems, contributing to accurate workforce information and payroll processes.

You will work closely with the CORE Team and HealthRoster users to support the transfer and management of rostering information while direct interface routines are developed.
