Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) seeks a Health Records Clerk to support efficient clinical care by managing patient records in a ward setting. The role requires you to maintain confidentiality and handle administrative tasks across ward locations.

The position is permanent and full-time, based at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, with a Monday–Friday 09:00–13:00 shift. Applicants should have clerical/reception experience and strong computer skills, and sponsorship eligibility will be assessed

Job description

The Role

To support effective clinical care by providing an efficient Health Records service within a ward environment. The post holder will ensure patient health records are administered and processed accurately while maintaining confidentiality.

Band 2 roles are not eligible for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker or Health and Care Worker visa routes.

All other roles will be assessed for sponsorship eligibility in line with current Home Office requirements. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) can only issue a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) where these are met.
