Job summary

SELDOC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Emergency Nurse Practitioner to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. You will work autonomously and cooperatively with ED and hospital services, managing a diverse urgent care caseload and providing high-quality patient care.

Candidates must hold NMC/HCPC registration with advanced practice, and have experience in paediatrics and urgent/emergency settings. Flexible working options include on-site or remote activity, with opportunities for development

Qualifications

Registered with NMC/HCPC and eligible to practice in the UK.
Postgraduate qualification in Advanced Practice (Level 7 or equivalent).
Proven diagnostic reasoning and decision-making in urgent care.

Responsibilities

Take comprehensive histories and perform clinical assessments in UTC.
Validate patient streaming from ED to UTC for appropriateness.
Diagnose and manage undifferentiated urgent/emergency conditions including paediatrics.
Order/interpret X-rays, initiate treatment, discharge or refer as needed.
Provide wound care, suturing, and administer medications where qualified.
Develop safe, patient-centred management plans with safety-netting.
Collaborate across Emergency Department and community care pathways.
Mentor juniors and contribute to guidelines and service improvements.
