Job summary

Prime is seeking a hands-on HR Advisor for an interim hybrid role from our Knutsford office, focused on Employee Relations. After a successful 3-month period, the position will become permanent.

You will manage onboarding, policy guidance, and ER casework while supporting managers with compliant, practical solutions. You will work across onboarding, ER, policy development, performance, payroll support, and lifecycle activities, balancing empathy with business needs, and driving continuous

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 or above or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years experience in a People/HR Advisor or generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ACAS guidance.
• Experience in a fast-paced agency environment is advantageous.
• Excellent questioning, investigation and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS 365 (Word, PPT, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
• Familiarity with HRIS/HR systems; HiBob a plus.
• Compassionate, professional approach to policy and process.

Responsibilities

• Own onboarding and induction processes.
• Manage a high-volume portfolio of ER cases with independence.
• Review and improve policies, templates and toolkits.
• Coach managers through formal and informal processes.
• Provide commercially aware HR guidance grounded in UK law.
• Identify risk and escalate material issues.
• Deliver process improvements across People & Culture.
