Job summary

CLSA, a CITIC CLSA entity in the UK, seeks an Operational Support professional to back the Sales team and handle settlement processes. The role rotates between trade support and settlement and requires familiarity with equity settlements and compliance with regulatory frameworks.

You will input allocations, perform end-of-day tasks, assist with GDR conversions, and coordinate with Sales Traders to ensure accurate client information and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of prior experience within financial services.
• Strong efficiency, numeracy, and attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with computer systems and MS Office applications.
• Basic understanding of the commercial and regulatory environment.

Responsibilities

• Input of client sub account allocations to OMS (Order Management System).
• Completion of end of day activities.
• Support GDR conversions.
• Work with Sales Traders to ensure accurate retrieval and reporting of average price and other client information.
• Reconciliation of client confirmations where applicable.
• Retrieval, collation and distribution of client data to relevant offices.
• Support of placements including blotter completion and transmission of signed letters to Head Office.
• Resolve ad hoc client/internal requests.
• Create and monitor trades for residual EMF trades.
• Reconcile confirmations for aforementioned trades.
• Reconcile stock positions between in-house system and agent statements; perform ad hoc resolution.
• Reconcile cash positions between in-house system and agent statements; perform ad hoc resolution.
• Dissemination of NAV and management fee information.
• Support Ad Hoc booking of global client EMEA trades.
• Adhere to Company Environmental Management Systems and policies.
