Job summary

PRO TAX in Leeds City Centre is seeking a Senior Equity & Reward Tax Manager to lead client advisory on share schemes and equity plans. The role offers a hybrid pattern with 2 days in the office in Leeds and 3 days remote.

You'll design structures, ensure UK compliance, manage HMRC reporting, and develop junior staff while contributing to business growth within the North's Equity & Reward team.

Qualifications

• Previous advisory experience on share/equity plans from a tax perspective.
• Qualified in tax or law relevant to equity and employment taxes.
• Experience at Manager/Senior Manager level with ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on employee share schemes and equity incentive plans.
• Design and implement tax-efficient share plan structures.
• Ensure compliance with UK share plan and employment tax regulations.
• Manage HMRC reporting and filings.
• Support corporate transactions, restructures, and due diligence involving share plans.
• Review tax implications of share awards, options, and incentives.
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to winning new work.
• Keep up to date with changes in share plan, employment tax, and wider tax legislation.

Senior Equity & Reward Tax Manager
Leeds City Centre (2 days per week in office)
£80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus
I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm who are looking to bring in Senior Manager level hires to their Equity & Reward business across the North.

• 2 days per week in the office

The team work on a variety of different share planning advisory projects, supporting both privately owned and large listed entities.

Your new role:

• Advise clients on employee share schemes and equity incentive plans.
