PRO TAX in Edinburgh is seeking a Senior Equity & Reward Tax Manager to lead advisory on employee share schemes and equity plans. The role blends tax planning with advisory delivery, supporting private and listed entities across Scotland.

Two days in the office, three days at home, with a clear progression path within the Equity & Reward team based in Scotland (Edinburgh/Glasgow). A strong benefits package is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Qualified in tax or legal field with emphasis on share plans and equity structures.
• Experience advising on share and equity plans from a tax planning perspective is required.
• Open to a strong Manager aiming for Senior Manager with ownership.

• Manage HMRC reporting and filings.

• Build and maintain client relationships as a trusted adviser.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Identify business development opportunities and help win new work.

Senior Equity & Reward Tax Manager

Edinburgh (2 days per week in office)

£80,000 - £100,000 + Bonus

I'm currently working with a leading professional services firm who are looking to bring in Senior Manager level hires to their Equity & Reward business across the North.

• 2 days per week in the office

The team work on a variety of different share planning advisory projects, supporting both privately owned and large listed entities.

Your new role:

• Advise clients on employee share schemes and equity incentive plans.
• Design and implement tax-efficient share plan structures.
• Ensure compliance with UK share plan and employment tax regulations.
• Manage HMRC reporting and filings.
• Support corporate transactions, restructures, and due diligence involving share plans.
• Review tax implications of share awards, options, and incentives.
• Build and maintain client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to winning new work.
• Keep up to date with changes in share plan, employment tax, and wider tax legislation.

What you'll need to be successful:

• Suitable tax or legal qualification
• Previous experience advising on share and equity plans from a tax planning perspective
• Open to a strong Manager who wants to step up or Senior Manager who is looking for greater ownership
