Job summary

A mortgage brokerage based in the UK seeks a qualified Equity Release Mortgage Broker to provide expert advice on equity release products for clients aged 55 and over. The role involves offering whole-of-market advice, managing client applications, and building long-term client relationships. The client offers a competitive base salary of up to £50k plus uncapped commission, flexible working options, along with training and full admin support.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in mortgage or equity release advising.
• Strong knowledge of lifetime mortgages, home reversion plans, and inheritance protection.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.

Responsibilities

• Offer whole-of-market advice on equity release and lifetime mortgage products.
• Conduct client consultations to assess needs and suitability.
• Manage applications and liaise with lenders and solicitors.

Skills

CeMAP or CeRER qualified

Experience in mortgage or equity release advising

Knowledge of lifetime mortgages

Excellent communication skills

FCA-authorised or working under an authorised firm
