Job summary

ERM, a global leader in sustainability consulting, is seeking a UK-based Partner to grow our end-to-end energy project offerings across renewables, storage, transmission and distribution.

You will lead business development and governance for onshore energy projects, leveraging senior client relationships with developers and investors, and directing multi-disciplinary teams to deliver sustainable, commercially successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of UK energy market, regulatory frameworks, and market trends.
• Proven consultancy experience with client relationship management and project delivery in the power sector.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales in ERM's Transmission & Distribution business.
• Leverage existing relationships with developers, investors, and EPCs in energy transmission and distribution.
• Provide value-adding consulting through feasibility, financing, consenting, post-consenting and construction stages.
• Collaborate with colleagues to market ERM’s low carbon energy solutions and client journeys.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and regulatory developments in the UK/Europe energy transition.
• Prepare and deliver winning proposals and presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Represent ERM at industry conferences and events.
