Job Description:

OVERVIEW

• Primary role to optimize the financing of the European equity book.
• Monitor/control the daily locate process, and source/process borrow.
• Identify, allocate & execute refinancing, axe and outperformance opportunities within the prime brokerage & swap network.
• Provide market color to Portfolio Managers, including short interest & corporate action color.
• Review revenue, spread and exception reports.
• Form strong relationships with prime financing and equity brokers across the street.
• Work closely with all internal groups, particularly execution trading and operations.
• Assist in driving internal technology, platform and process developments.
• Create and develop new trade ideas & structures within equity finance/delta one space.
• Cover US and Asia desks where necessary.
• Proactively assist and drive initiatives within the firm.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• At least 5 years in an equity finance or delta one related role.
• Desire to drive the group forward, in terms of product, technology, reputation and PnL.
• Strong existing market relationships as well as an ability to develop new internal & external relationships.
• Knowledge of multiple asset classes (equities, options, futures).
• Problem solving skills & ability to identify/implement appropriate solutions & technologies.
• Knowledge of coding is an advantage.
