Job summary

Gateley Legal seeks an Equity Capital Markets Senior Associate in London or Birmingham with hybrid working. You will handle ECM, public M&A and governance across sectors, while mentoring juniors and partnering on complex matters.

The role requires 4 years' PQE with broad ECM and public M&A experience, strong commercial sense, and the ability to generate new business opportunities in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' PQE with equity capital markets and public M&A experience
• Experience advising corporates, investment banks, brokers, and major shareholders
• Strong technical legal skills with commercial acumen

Responsibilities

• Advise on equity capital markets, public M&A and corporate governance matters
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate with partners on high-value matters
• Develop and maintain client relationships and cross-sell Gateley services
• Coordinate cross-border transactions including transatlantic and pan-European work
