Job summary

ExCeL London is seeking a proactive Logistics Warehouse Manager to lead all warehouse and logistics operations across the venue, coordinating deliveries, storage, and stock control for a busy event calendar. You will manage and develop warehouse staff, ensure health and safety compliance, and produce reports while supporting budget management and cross-department collaboration.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Experience in large-scale venues, events, or hospitality logistics.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory and logistics processes.
• Excellent health and safety knowledge and practices.
• Proven track record of leading and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills; able to prioritise.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Confidence using WMS and MS Office tools.
• Ability to work under pressure to maintain high standards.
• Forklift certification or related logistics qualifications is advantageous.

• Support event build-up, live operations and breakdown activities.
• Plan logistics resources across multiple events and produce operational reports.

Working Hours

This role requires flexibility to support a diverse programme of events throughout the year. Working hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays depending on event schedules and operational requirements.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all warehouse and logistics operations across the venue.
• Oversee the receipt, storage, stock control, and distribution of goods and equipment.
• Ensure efficient inventory management and accurate stock records.
• Coordinate deliveries and collections with internal departments, contractors, exhibitors, and suppliers.
• Manage and develop warehouse staff, ensuring performance, engagement, and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and security within all warehouse and logistics areas.
• Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Support event build-up, live event operations, and breakdown activities.
• Manage logistics planning to ensure resources are allocated effectively across multiple events.
• Produce reports, maintain operational records, and support budget management where required.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous experience in a Logistics Manager, Warehouse Manager, or similar leadership position.
• Experience working within large-scale venues, events, hospitality, distribution, or logistics environments is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics processes.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Proven experience leading, motivating, and developing teams.
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Confidence using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining high operational standards.
• Forklift certification or other relevant logistics qualifications would be advantageous.
