Groundforce is seeking a confident and organised Hire Controller to join our busy team in Morley. This is an office-based role handling hire requests, coordinating with depots and transport, and ensuring equipment is delivered on time and to specification.

You will thrive in a busy environment, enjoy working with people, and take pride in getting the details right. A full driving licence and access to a car are beneficial due to location and transport options.

Qualifications

• Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering data.
• Resilient and solution-focused under pressure.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook/Excel) and quick to learn new software.
• Experience using G42 or other hire management systems is advantageous.
• Understanding of the construction or hire industry is helpful but not essential.
• Proactive team player with a flexible attitude to work.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incoming calls and emails with prompt, professional service.
• Process on-hire and off-hire requests with high accuracy.
• Prepare and issue hire quotations based on customer requirements.
• Coordinate with depots and transport to arrange deliveries, collections and exchanges.
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled on time.
• Maintain accurate records of customer activity and system data.
• Assist with checking product availability and depot stock control.
