Job summary

East Durham College is seeking an Equine Yard Groom to join our team on an hourly-paid basis. You will work with the Yard Manager to complete yard duties, supervise students when needed, and ensure high standards of care for our horses and safety for our students.

The role requires a recognised Level 3 horse care qualification (or equivalent) and Level 2 Maths and English. We offer strong staff benefits and opportunities to develop professionally.

• Recognised L3 horse care qualification or equivalent.
• Level 2 Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Muck out, groom, and maintain the yard and equipment to a high standard.
• Support the Yard Manager and supervise students when present to ensure yard duties are completed.
