Job summary

inspiring vet care's Sussex Equine Hospital is seeking a dedicated Equine Veterinary Nurse for a night-shift role across 3 days per week. You’ll provide high-quality nursing care to inpatients and support emergency surgeries within a collaborative team of 25 Veterinary Surgeons and 30 support staff.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.
• A motivation to work night shifts and provide high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Providing 24-hour inpatient nursing care and monitoring patients.
• Supporting emergency surgeries and ongoing clinical care.
• Carrying out general nursing duties during night shifts to ensure smooth operations.
