Job summary

inspiring vet care in Hungerford is seeking a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join Hungerford Vets on a full-time basis. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, work with a team of vets and nurses, and support patient care across anaesthesia, theatre and inpatient settings.

The role offers a varied pattern with 37.5 hours weekly, 4 days a week, with occasional night shifts and weekend rotations, in a 24hr hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Registration as a Veterinary Nurse with the RCVS.
• Experience working in clinical practice, with growing confidence in medical and surgical nursing.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage workload effectively.
• A proactive approach to learning, reflection, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Anaesthesia, theatre nursing and inpatients.
• Consulting and night shifts on a rota pattern.
• Support the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.
