Job summary

B&W Equine Group is offering an 18-month Internship Programme for new or recent graduates at our state-of-the-art equine hospital in Gloucestershire. You will join a team of interns and experienced veterinarians, with mentorship from specialists across surgery, medicine, imaging, sports medicine and dentistry.

There is a 1-in-4 rota for out-of-hours duties, a comprehensive in-house training programme, and strong encouragement to undertake clinical research during the placement.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and hardworking
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Eligible for RCVS registration and be prepared for EMS/work experience placements

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop under clinical mentorship from senior specialists
• Contribute to a diverse and challenging caseload in a busy equine hospital
• Undertake clinical research and development projects during the internship
• Share out-of-hours duties on a 1-in-4 rota with support on-site
