Job summary

CVS Group UK offers an 18-month Internship Programme at our state-of-the-art equine hospital in Gloucestershire, starting April 2027. You will work with four interns and experienced veterinarians, including eight Diploma holders, with strong mentorship and VetGDP support.

Applicants should be enthusiastic, possess excellent communication and teamwork skills, be eligible for RCVS registration, and are encouraged to complete EMS placements with us before applying.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic and team‑oriented; strong communication abilities.
• Willingness to undertake EMS or relevant work experience prior to applying.
• Eligibility for registration with the RCVS.
• New graduates welcome to apply and encouraged to gain experience before applying.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of four interns under supervision of equine specialists.
• Participate in a 1‑in‑4 rota for out-of-hours duties, with on-site support.
• Engage in clinical research and development projects during the internship.
• Learn from specialists in surgery, medicine, imaging, sports medicine and dentistry.
