Equine Veterinary Surgeon | Worcestershire

Full-time | 4-day week | Salary up to £75,000 DOE

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Equine Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established, independent RCVS-accredited practice in Worcestershire, following a period of continued growth.

With more than 60 years of experience serving the local equine community, this respected practice combines high clinical standards with a friendly, supportive and genuinely independent approach.

The role

You will join a team of 12 veterinary surgeons, supported by an experienced reception team, providing a varied caseload with a strong focus on ambulatory work and lameness investigations.

The practice offers a high degree of clinical autonomy and is well equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment facilities, including:

  • Mobile gastroscopy unit
  • Flexible fibre-optic endoscope
  • Portable digital radiography
  • Ultrasound
  • Equine acupuncture
  • A range of additional ambulatory equipment

This would suit an experienced Equine Veterinary Surgeon looking for a role where clinical quality is prioritised and there is scope to develop their areas of interest. An enhanced salary package can be negotiated for an Advanced Practitioner. Ideally a minimum of 2 years experience.

Working pattern

Work-life balance is taken seriously, with a 4-day working week, typically 8:30am–6:30pm, including protected administrative time and a fixed day off.

The weekend rota is 1 in 4, with one night of on-call per week.
