Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Equine Lecturer/Trainer for a well-regarded FE college in Northampton. This on-site role offers £30-£40 per hour on a 3-month rolling contract or temp-to-perm, with the chance to influence learners and apprentices.

You will deliver teaching and practical training in horse care, stable management and equine management, assess progress, and mentor learners toward their qualifications. Enhanced DBS is required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering training and assessing apprentices/learners.
• Ability to work with learners toward equine qualifications and apprenticeships.
• Enhanced DBS check may be required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching and practical training within the equine sector.
• Assess and support learners working towards relevant equine qualifications and apprenticeship standards.
• Provide practical instruction across horse care, stable management and equine management.
• Coach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to learners.
• Support on-site teaching role for a rolling 3-month contract or temp-to-perm.

Equine Lecturer / Trainer

£30 - £40 per hour

On Site Northampton - commutable from Coventry, Bedford, Peterborough, Banbury and surrounding areas.

3 Months Rolling Contract or Temp to Perm - your preference

Are you an experienced Equine Lecturer looking for your next immediately available contract role, working at a renowned FE College on a rolling contract?

Do you have experience working within further education, apprenticeships, or technical training, or are you an experienced Equine professional looking to showcase your skillset and pass on your knowledge to the next generation of equine professionals?

You'll support apprentices and learners working towards their qualifications by delivering high-quality teaching, carrying out practical assessments, providing coaching and mentoring, and helping learners achieve their full potential.

This role would suit someone with previous Training / Lecturing experience who is looking for a position within a well-established college, or an experienced Equine professional looking to move into education.

The Role:

The Person:

• Current or previous professional experience working within the equine industry
• Practical experience in areas such as horse care, stable management, riding or equine management
• Teaching qualification (desirable)
• Experience delivering training, lecturing, or assessing apprentices/learners is advantageous
• Able to obtain an Enhanced DBS check
