Job summary

Plumpton College in Lewes is looking for an experienced educator to deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across equine theory and practical units for levels 1–3. You will co-ordinate, lead and deliver across several units, supporting students to maximise their potential and progress.

You will bring a passion for the equine industry, strong coaching experience, and a proactive, well-organised approach to curriculum delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience coaching riding, practical and theory delivery across a range of abilities.
• Ability to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons.
• Commitment to safeguarding and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment across theory and practical units.
• Co-ordinate, lead and deliver across units for levels 1–3.
• Assess students' progress through written and practical assessments.
• Monitor progress and support progression towards goals.
• Promote links to the equine industry and contribute to curriculum development.
