Job summary

Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a talented BI Lead to steer the development of the information service for the EPR and data warehouse. You will work with clinical teams and the wider BI group to turn complex data into actionable management information for executives and clinicians.

The role provides technical leadership for the EPR-aligned analytics platform, coordinating with other Trusts and suppliers within a major digital programme.

Qualifications

• Designing, developing, testing and implementing robust reporting and data warehouse solutions.
• Supporting delivery of reporting solutions within a major digital or systems implementation programme.
• Knowledge of BI and data warehouse principles, reporting architectures and data flows.
• Experience with integrated dashboard design and development.

Responsibilities

• Oversee development of the BI information service from datasets to Executives, Trust Management and Clinicians.
• Provide technical leadership for the EPR-aligned data warehousing and analytics solution.
• Integrate EPR, legacy and downstream data sources for operational, clinical, regulatory and strategic reporting.
• Engage with the Executive Team and clinical staff to understand and deliver data requirements.
• Engage directly with other Trusts and suppliers.
