Job Description:

We are seeking experienced EPOS Installation / Field Engineers for positions across the UK. The role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing IT equipment such as tills, Chip & PIN devices, tablets, digital menu boards, media screens, and Wi-Fi systems in Hospitality & Retail environments.

Salary: Circa £28,000 per annum

Locations: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Stevenage, Luton MK9 1LA; candidates should be based around the M25 (Croydon, North London, Bedford areas).

The role requires daily travel to customer sites, with work scheduled over 5 days in any 7, including some weekends and night shifts. Overtime, company van, fuel card, Screwfix card, Velos credit card are provided.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation, refurbishment, and maintenance of various IT devices and systems
• On-site swap out services and adherence to customer contracts
• Professional customer interaction and communication
• Following procedures for parts and repairs
• Supporting project work and site surveys
• Documentation and reporting
• Ensuring health and safety compliance

Candidate Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in EPOS installations, preferably in Retail and Hospitality
• Experience with data cabling (Cat 5e, Cat 6, Fibre)
• Configuration and commissioning of IT equipment
• Fault finding on IT systems
• Computer literacy and excellent communication skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
• Organizational skills and documentation accuracy
• Ownership and responsibility
• Full UK Driving Licence

Health & Safety Qualifications:

• ECS (preferable)
• CSCS (minimum requirement)
• 1-day CITB Health & Safety Awareness course (within last 2 years)
