Job summary

Precept Recruit is seeking an EPOS Field Engineer based in the UK. The role is field-based from Telford and involves hands-on break-fix work, installations and deployments for retail, hospitality and leisure clients across the UK.

You will diagnose and repair EPOS, IT and networking equipment, install new systems, perform site surveys and contribute to project rollouts while delivering excellent customer service and keeping operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a field-based customer service engineering role, ideally in retail/hospitality/leisure.
• Knowledge of EPOS systems, PCs, peripherals and IP networking.
• Experience installing and supporting IT equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

We're looking for a motivated and customer-focused EPOS Field Engineer to support a range of retail, hospitality, and leisure customers across the UK. Based from Telford, this field-based role combines hands-on break-fix support with installation and deployment projects, giving you a varied and rewarding workload.
