Job summary

We are seeking an experienced pharmacist or pharmacy technician to play a key role in managing the Wye Valley EPMA solution. Having implemented EPMA across the Trust, the team aims to continue with Business As Usual (BAU) practices and further system optimization. Essential skills include stakeholder engagement, IT system management or development cycles, and system support in a dynamic digital environment. The post holder's clinical knowledge will support system change management and help develop robust clinical governance routines.

The post holder will collaborate closely with other system managers within the Clinical Systems Group (CSG), which oversees multiple systems including PAS, EPR, digital dictation, and Community Services.

Main duties of the job

1. Provide leadership and expertise in digital projects related to service improvement and change management for EPMA and digital medicines management.
2. Work collaboratively with medical staff, nursing staff, senior pharmacists, multidisciplinary teams, and operational management to advance the national agenda for EPMA and digital medicines management, including medicines optimization.
3. Develop procedures to ensure new systems and service changes are stable, maintainable, usable, accurate, and meet specifications.
4. Offer effective leadership, advice, and support to wards and departments using clinical software applications.
