Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust in Basildon is seeking a Registered Nurse with a keen interest in Epilepsy to join a small specialist community team. You will support the clinical lead in managing epilepsy patients in the community and run nurse-led clinics.

You will conduct home visits, provide advice remotely, educate the wider MDT on epilepsy management, and work closely with secondary and primary care to optimise patient care. A probationary period applies.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with at least 2 years of experience.
• Interest in Epilepsy.

Responsibilities

• Hold independent nurse led clinics in the community reviewing current medications.
• Provide advice over the phone or virtually alongside, responding to urgent tasks; home visits to patients, residential and nursing homes.
