Job summary

NELFT NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Epilepsy Nurse to join our specialist team covering south west Essex. You will support the clinical lead, run nurse-led clinics in the community, review medications, and provide guidance to patients and carers, including home visits and remote support.

The role requires registered nursing status with an interest in Epilepsy and a background in community care, with a focus on coordinating with MDTs and primary/secondary care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a registered nurse.
• Interest in Epilepsy and community-based care.
• Ability to educate patients, carers and MDT members.

Responsibilities

• Support clinical lead in managing epilepsy patients in the community.
• Hold nurse-led clinics in the community and review medications.
• Provide advice over the phone or virtually and conduct home visits.
