Job summary

Marc Daniels is seeking an experienced accountant who is highly confident with the Epicor ERP system and stock control procedures. The ideal candidate will come from a manufacturing or engineering background, or a product-led industry with relevant stock control experience.

You will optimise finance processes following the Epicor Kinetic rollout, review stock control for visibility and cost reduction, and create forecasts and budgets aligned to the production plan and BOM.

Qualifications

• Must have strong Epicor ERP experience.
• Solid stock control knowledge.
• Experience in finance roles within manufacturing or engineering sectors.

Responsibilities

• Review and enhance stock control process to improve visibility and reduce costs.
• Create forecasts and budgets based on production plan and bill of materials.
• Produce monthly management reports highlighting variances between forecast and actuals.
• Collaborate with operations to monitor stock take and improve month-end efficiency.
• Maintain shipping reports to identify value of products shipped and consignment stock.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced accountant who is highly confident in their use of Epicor ERP system. Suitable applicants will ideally come from a manufacturing or engineering background but any product led industry will be considered if you have relevant stock control experience.

Responsibilities

• Optimising finance processes after the recent implementation of Epicor Kinetic
• Review and enhance existing stock control process to give greater visibility and reduce costs
• Create forecasts and budgets based upon production plan and bill of materials
• Producing monthly management reports highlighting variances between forecast and actuals
• Working closely with operations to monitor stock take to improve efficiency at month end
• Maintain shipping reports to identify value of products shipped to customers and consignment stock

This is an integral role within a busy and fast growing business. You will be confident in dealing with both finance and non-finance staff but most importantly MUST have strong working knowledge of both Epicor and stock control procedures
