The Epicor Change Manager will lead the developmentand continuous improvement of the Epicor ERP system across the business. Therole will lead the Epicor superuser team and work with all departments totranslate business requirements into practical system improvements. Thepostholder will guide the business through continued development of the systemand deliver phase 2 implementation.
Objectives/Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the Epicor ERP development roadmap, aligned with the organisation’s strategic and operational priorities.
- Engage with stakeholders across all departments to understand requirements, identify process improvements and agree priorities.
- Work with external consultants to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, workflows and deliverable system changes.
- Lead Epicor configuration, enhancements, integrations, reporting and upgrades, coordinating internal resources and external consultants where required.
- Develop and deliver user communications, training, guidance and support to embed new processes and increase effective use of Epicor.
- Champion standardisation and the use of core Epicor functionality, challenging unnecessary customisation and inconsistent working practices.
- Oversee user access, roles and system controls in conjunction with IT and process owners, supporting appropriate segregation of duties and audit requirements.
- Monitor adoption, benefits, risks and key performance indicators, providing regular progress reports and recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team.
Experience/Qualification
- Hands-on experience with Epicor ERP.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively with shop-floor users, managers and senior leaders.
- Strong business-process analysis skills, with the ability to translate operational requirements into practical system solutions.
- Experience leading organisational change
- A structured, analytical approach with significant attention to detail and a strong focus on data quality and control.
- Self-motivated and able to manage competing priorities, make informed decisions and work to strict deadlines.
- Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of how ERP-enabled processes support operational and financial performance.
- Experience working with external ERP consultants.
- Proven experience in delivering ERP system development, implementation or continuous-improvement projects.
- Knowledge of relevant Epicor modules, including Finance, Job Management, Production, Materials, Inventory, Purchasing, Sales and Project Management.
- Experience of Epicor configuration and reporting tools such as BAQs and dashboards.
- A recognised qualification in project management, change management, business analysis or information systems.
