Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a professional to support the preparation, implementation, testing, and maintenance of managed care and government reimbursement contracts within Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB). The role includes monitoring contract performance and identifying underpayments and revenue opportunities.

Key duties involve configuring payer reimbursement contracts, translating terms, and ensuring correct mapping to payers and billing entities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• 5+ years in Managed Care, Government Finance, Revenue Cycle, Billing, or related healthcare fields.

Responsibilities

• Configure payer contracts and reimbursement terms in Epic Hospital Billing (HB) and Professional Billing (PB).
• Translate managed care contracts, exclusions, carve-outs, and fee schedules.
• Develop test scenarios to ensure accurate reimbursement calculations in Epic HB/PB.
• Collaborate with payer, IT, and revenue cycle teams to resolve discrepancies.
