Job summary

INTEC Energy Solutions is seeking a driven EPC Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar PV and BESS projects across the UK. You will oversee the full EPC lifecycle—from design reviews and procurement to on-site construction and handover to O&M teams.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience managing BESS projects in an EPC framework, coordinating multidisciplinary teams while ensuring safety, budget, and performance alignment. Willingness to travel across project sites is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering Solar and/or BESS projects within an EPC or turnkey environment in the UK or similar markets.
• Strong knowledge of battery tech, grid connection standards, and HV/LV integration.
• Solid understanding of UK construction practices, contract management (FIDIC or NEC), and health & safety obligations.
• Excellent stakeholder management, team leadership, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-scope EPC utility-scale BESS projects from notice to proceed to PAC.
• Manage BoP procurement interfaces and energy storage hardware/assets.
• Coordinate civil and electrical construction on site with safety and schedule in check.
• Conduct progress reviews, performance monitoring, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Drive delivery using critical path planning, risk mitigation, and change management.
