Nottinghamshire County Council’s Children and Families Department is seeking an EOTAS Professional Practitioner to join the Multiagency Alternative Education Team. You will ensure that pupils with EHC plans, those missing education, and excluded groups access appropriate education and pathways.

You will collaborate with alternative education providers, SEND, fair access, virtual school and mental health services to secure support, coordinate CME strategy and ensure statutory duties are met while

Qualifications

• Relevant Level 3 qualifications, including GCSE or equivalent, in English and Maths.
• An NVQ Level 3 related to children and young people or more than 5 years’ experience with vulnerable children and young people.

Responsabilités

• Collaborating with alternative education providers, schools and academies to fulfil statutory obligations.
• Working with SEND, fair access, virtual school and SEMH teams to secure support and access to education.
• Contributing to the coordination of CME Strategy.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory duties to mitigate risks.
