Nottinghamshire County Council’s Children and Families Department invites applications for an EOTAS Professional Practitioner to help pupils with education health and care plans, CME, and excluded groups access suitable education. You will coordinate with schools, SEND, and other services to secure timely support while ensuring safeguarding standards are met.

Formación

• A relevant qualification in education, social work, or a related field.
• Experience working with children and young people, particularly those with special educational needs or who are excluded from school.
• A strong understanding of the legal framework surrounding education and safeguarding.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborating with alternative education providers, schools, and academies to fulfil Nottinghamshire County Council’s statutory obligations.
• Working closely with various Nottinghamshire County Council services, including the SEND service, fair access team, virtual school, and social emotional and mental health team, to secure appropriate support and access to education.
• Contributing to the coordination of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Children Missing Education (CME) Strategy.
• Ensuring compliance with statutory duties to mitigate risks associated with high-level fines.
