Job summary

Ecologia (part of the RSK Group) seeks an Environmental Technician in Sittingbourne, UK to support oil spill responses and land remediation projects. The role blends office tasks with on-site activities, requiring flexibility for urgent incident response and travel across the UK.

You will work in a small team, assist with sampling, site inspections, and reporting, and contribute to health and safety compliance while developing broad field experience.

Qualifications

• CSCS card desirable.
• Degree in environment/land related subject desirable.
• Confident, personable and practical with a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist with oil spill response and soil/groundwater sampling.
• Supervise excavations and liaise with contractors.
• Prepare and send samples to accredited laboratories.
• Assist with site investigations and remediation of contaminated land.
• Maintain project records and assist with report writing.
