Job summary

Qualifications

• Leadership in environmental and sustainability matters on large projects.
• Ability to drive risk mitigation and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead best practice in environmental and sustainability matters with SHESQ.
• Ensure management controls so staff are aware of duties and can receive guidance.
• Lead site management to ensure compliance with environmental plans.
• Oversee investigations into accidents/incidents and recommend improvements.
• Collate and review environmental statistics to identify trends.
• Develop campaigns and improvement plans with Operations/SHES Director.
• Prepare and review environmental documents including third-party plans.
• Produce environmental plans, procedures and ensure compliance.
• Identify significant issues and set up contracts/yards with controls.
• Obtain necessary environmental permits/consents.
• Provide reports and information to the SHESQ function.
• Input and review pre-qualification, tender and environmental submissions.
