Navantia UK seeks an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor to lead compliance with environmental legislation, drive sustainability performance, and integrate responsible practices across shipyard operations. You will work with engineering and production teams to minimise environmental impact in welding, painting, and related activities.
The role requires a degree in Environmental Science or related field, with experience in heavy industry and marine environmental regulations.

As an Environmental & Sustainability Advisor, you will lead and support environmental and sustainability initiatives across the organisation. You will ensure compliance with environmental legislation, drive continuous improvement in sustainability performance, and help integrate environmentally responsible practices into business operations. This position ensures that all activities across the shipyard are aligned with environmental legislation and corporate sustainability goals.
Support bid and tender work where specialist environmental insight and expertise are required.
Degree in Environmental Science, Marine Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
Relevant experience in an environmental or sustainability role within heavy industry (preferably shipbuilding, marine, or offshore).
Knowledge of marine environmental regulations and standards.
Experience conducting site inspections and environmental audits.
Experience in shipbuilding, maritime or heavy engineering sectors.
