Job summary

The Clancy Group is seeking a Senior Environmental Advisor in Horsham to support environmental and sustainability objectives across our operations. You will work with operational teams, regulators and clients to ensure works are delivered with the environment at the forefront of decision-making.

With a strong background in environmental legislation and permit processes, you will influence environmental outcomes, manage data reporting and contribute to continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of environmental legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience with environmental permitting and consents in construction/infrastructure projects.
• Experience gathering, analysing and reporting environmental data (ESOS, SECR, ISO14064, ISO14001).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert environmental advice across all phases of planned and reactive works.
• Establish baseline environmental conditions and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Undertake environmental inspections and audits.
• Monitor, analyse and report on environmental performance.
• Prepare and review EMS, waste management and material management plans; develop emergency response procedures.
• Deliver environmental training and awareness programmes across the business.
• Support investigations of environmental incidents and drive continual improvement.
• Collaborate with clients, regulators and operations to promote best practice.
• Support sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement programmes.
