Job summary

Executive Connect LTD is seeking an Environmental Services Technician Assistant for a 37-hour week role, focused on grass cutting season between mid-March and Oct 2025. You will join the ground maintenance team and, when required, assist the cleansing team with litter-picking and related tasks.

The role requires GCSE English and Maths, basic IT and email use, health and safety awareness, and the ability to operate basic power tools. Flexibility across 7 days and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate basic power tools safely.
• Basic IT skills including email and smartphones.
• Understanding of health and safety standards for this work.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grass cutting using strimmers and related tasks.
• Work with ground maintenance team and occasionally cleansing team.
• Litter picking and assisting area cabac drivers as needed.
• Follow instructions and adapt to changing environments.

Environmental Services Technician Assistant

37 hours per week We require between 10-12 strimmers for grass cutting season which is planned to be between Mid March 2025 and end of October 2025.

The job will mainly include working with ground maintenance team but when required operative will be required to work with cleansing team: litterpicking, assisting area cabac drivers and completing specific tasks.

Skills

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
• Use of basic electronic communication systems e.g. smartphone, email.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety standards associated with this type of work
• Ability to safely operate basic power tools or equipment associated with the tasks of the role.
• Able to carry out routine maintenance tasks under direction.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally in person or over the phone.
• Able to adapt to change e.g. colleagues, settings and working environment.

Experience

Experience of working as part of a team

Experience of following instructions and applying them to the task in hand.

The ability to work flexibly across 7 days.
