Job summary

Executive Connect LTD is seeking an Environmental Services Technician Assistant to support the ground maintenance and cleansing teams. The role runs around 37 hours per week during the grass cutting season from mid March to end October 2025.

The assistant will help with grass cutting, litter picking, and other tasks as directed, with opportunities to work across 7 days and adapt to different sites. Training on health and safety is provided where needed.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards.
• Ability to operate basic power tools.
• Able to carry out routine maintenance tasks under direction.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally.
• Able to adapt to change.

Responsibilities

• Work with the ground maintenance team on grass cutting tasks.
• Litter picking with cleansing team when required.
• Assist area cabac drivers and complete tasks as directed.
• Carry out specific tasks as required by supervisors.

Environmental Services Technician Assistant

37 hours per week We require between 10-12 strimmers for grass cutting season which is planned to be between Mid March 2025 and end of October 2025.

The job will mainly include working with ground maintenance team but when required operative will be required to work with cleansing team: litterpicking, assisting area cabac drivers and completing specific tasks.

Skills

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
• 2Use of basic electronic communication systems e.g. smartphone, email.
• Knowledge of basic health and safety standards associated with this type of work
• Ability to safely operate basic power tools or equipment associated with the tasks of the role.
• Able to carry out routine maintenance tasks under direction.
• Able to communicate effectively verbally in person or over the phone.
• Able to adapt to change e.g. colleagues, settings and working environment.

Experience

• Experience of working as part of a team
• Experience of following instructions and applying them to the task in hand.
• The ability to work flexibly across 7 days.
