Job summary

Mitie Group plc. is seeking a reliable window cleaner to maintain cleanliness across Liverpool ONE, including external facades and high-level structures. The role requires working at height, operating access equipment, and adhering to safety standards.

Ideal candidates are physically fit with experience in commercial window cleaning or high-level access cleaning, and hold a UK driving licence (preferred). The position is based on-site at Liverpool ONE with outdoor exposure in varying weather.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Window Cleaner to join our team at Liverpool ONE. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the open-air retail and leisure estate. The role involves carrying out both routine ground-level cleaning and specialist high-level work across external facades, walkways, glazed canopies, and architectural structures.

Key Responsibilities

1. 1 Glazing & Surface Cleaning: Clean internal and external glass surfaces, including retail facades, skylights, atrium glass, lift casings, and balustrades across various estate zones
2. 2 Canopy & Structure Maintenance: Wash down high-level canopies, link bridges, and public realm glass fixtures using reach-and-wash systems, ladders, or elevated work platforms (MEWPs)
3. 3 Escalators & Entrances: Carry out regular cleaning of escalator surrounds, revolving doors, and elevator lobbies.
4. 4 Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly follow safety procedures for working at height, inspect equipment before use, and report any site hazards or glass damage promptly.
5. 5 Previous experience in commercial window cleaning or high-level access cleaning (preferred).
6. 6 Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
