Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a reliable Window Cleaner for Liverpool ONE to maintain high standards of cleanliness across open-air retail and leisure spaces. The role involves routine ground-level cleaning and specialist high-level work on facades, canopies, and architectural structures.

You will be expected to work at height, handle MEWP or ladder-based access, and adhere to health and safety standards. Physical fitness and a full UK driving licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial window cleaning or high-level access cleaning (preferred).
• Comfortable working at height and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience or certifications operating access equipment (MEWP/IPAFF, ladder, or cradle systems preferred).
• Physically fit and capable of handling equipment and manual tasks.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards for working at height.
• Full UK driving licence (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Glazing & Surface Cleaning: Clean internal and external glass surfaces across facades, skylights, atrium glass, lift casings, and balustrades.
• Canopy & Structure Maintenance: Wash down high-level canopies, link bridges, and glass fixtures using reach-and-wash systems or MEWPs.
• Escalators & Entrances: Clean escalator surrounds, revolving doors, and elevator lobbies.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures for working at height, inspect equipment, and report hazards or glass damage.

Job Purpose

We are looking for a reliable and physically fit Window Cleaner to join our team at Liverpool ONE. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the open-air retail and leisure estate. The role involves carrying out both routine ground-level cleaning and specialist high-level work across external facades, walkways, glazed canopies, and architectural structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Glazing & Surface Cleaning: Clean internal and external glass surfaces, including retail facades, skylights, atrium glass, lift casings, and balustrades across various estate zones
• Canopy & Structure Maintenance: Wash down high-level canopies, link bridges, and public realm glass fixtures using reach-and-wash systems, ladders, or elevated work platforms (MEWPs)
• Escalators & Entrances: Carry out regular cleaning of escalator surrounds, revolving doors, and elevator lobbies.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly follow safety procedures for working at height, inspect equipment before use, and report any site hazards or glass damage promptly.

Essential
