Qualifications

• Relevant environmental degree.
• Chartered status or working towards IEMA membership or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating EIAs within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of environmental and planning legislation.
• Post-qualified experience coordinating environmental assessments.
• Understanding of project management including commercial, risk, forecasting and QA.
• Experience liaising with cross-discipline teams and external bodies.
• Verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with environmental specialists, clients and engineering teams to promote sustainable design.
• Manage delivery of environmental inputs to projects (EIA screening, scoping, ESIAs, environmental management plans).
• Oversee projects with focus on technical, quality, commercial and health & safety performance.
• Build relationships with clients and identify opportunities for resourcing, scheduling and delivery.
• Support business development activities including proposals and bid preparation.
• Contribute to innovative techniques (e.g., Digital EIA, Future Ready EIA).
• Inspire and upskill junior colleagues and promote an inclusive workplace.
