Job summary

WSP is seeking environmental professionals across all levels to support the Environmental Management and Assessment Team in the UK, based from any WSP UK office. Our projects span renewables, aviation, nuclear, rail and more, and we require individuals with a solid grounding in environmental design, assessment and management at any stage of the lifecycle.

The role suits a pro-active candidate looking to influence, manage and deliver environmental elements of engineering projects, across sectors

Qualifications

• A relevant environmental degree level qualification.
• Chartered Environmental Status and Full membership of IEMA, or equivalent with a professional body.
• Experience of coordinating environmental assessments on diverse projects.
• Knowledge of environmental and planning legislation.
• Experience in multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating environmental inputs.

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental advice and support to clients, project managers and colleagues.
• Collaborate with diverse environmental specialists, clients and engineering teams to promote sustainable design.
• Manage delivery of environmental inputs (EIA screening, scoping reports, studies, management plans, Environmental Statements).
• Contribute to project management activities including quality, risk and forecasting.
