WSP is seeking an Associate Environmental Permitting Consultant to provide technical leadership across major permitting and compliance programmes for energy, nuclear, industrial and utilities sectors. You will guide complex technical work, mentor junior staff, and help shape WSP's environmental permitting offerings nationally while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team across the UK.

This role offers flexible location within the UK, with hybrid working and occasional UK travel to client

Qualifications

• Significant experience in environmental permitting and regulatory strategy.
• Experience delivering complex permitting and compliance programmes.
• Ability to develop and maintain strategic client relationships.
• Strong leadership and team development skills.
• Professional accreditation or recognised expertise in environmental permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead major permitting and compliance projects across multiple sectors.
• Provide strategic environmental and regulatory advice to clients.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to business planning.
