Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Shift Environmental Monitoring Scientist to support environmental monitoring testing and ensure GMP compliance across client facilities. You will collect samples, perform microbiological analyses, and manage data in LIMS, contributing to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

The role requires GMP experience, strong documentation and communication skills. It is a full-time, on-site position with a rotating two-week shift pattern, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Degree or higher in Microbiology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related life science subject.
• Experience in GMP-controlled pharmaceutical labs with quality and regulatory focus.
• Strong organisational skills and high accuracy with attention to detail.
• Excellent documentation and record-keeping per GMP and SOPs.
• Strong communication with internal stakeholders and clients.
• Passion for quality, client service and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Aseptically collect environmental monitoring and cleaning validation samples at client facilities in sterile GMP environments.
• Perform routine and non-routine microbiological and QC testing including bioburden, endotoxin, concentration and conductivity analysis.
• Manage samples lifecycle using LIMS with chain of custody, receipt, aliquoting, storage and documentation.
• Review manufacturing schedules and EM plans to ensure correct sampling and assess OOS results.
• Calculate, evaluate and GMP assess analytical data; prepare technical reports and communicate results.
• Support lab and equipment maintenance; contribute to continuous improvement and lean initiatives.
