Eurofins Scientific SE is seeking a Second Shift analyst to perform microbiology analyses on pharmaceutical ingredients and products. You will review data, prepare standards and samples, and operate lab equipment with precision to deliver quality results for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in microbiology, biology, or related field.
• Experience with GMP/GLP is preferred.
• Ability to perform analytical procedures and data review.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses of bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products.
• Prepare reagents, samples and standards according to procedures.
• Document testing, observations, deviations and results clearly and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment with accuracy and precision.
• Process data and generate reports; ensure data quality for clients.
• Work collaboratively with analysts and mentors and support overtime as needed.

Job description

This position is Second Shift, Tuesday-Saturday Completing all training in a timely and complete manner; working with an experienced analyst/mentor performing various tasks and analyses of Bio/pharmaceutical ingredients and products; reviewing or preparing standards and samples for analysis and running any equipment or instrumentation independently and/or with guidance; working efficiently; ensuring that the client receives quality data by reviewing laboratory data for accuracy, clarity, and adherence to GMP and/or GLP regulations.,

• Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
• Applies the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility
• Demonstrates strong client service skills, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
• Meets all quality and productivity metrics and demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration
• Regular attendance and punctuality
• Performs laboratory operations with good dexterity, good laboratory technique, and high degree of accuracy and precision
• Perform/Review preparations of reagents, samples, and standards according to procedures.
• Document testing, observations, deviations, and results clearly and completely, and in compliance with regulatory requirements - striving to minimize errors
• Read and understand analytical procedures (compendial and client supplied) and internal SOP's
• Use MS Windows applications such as Excel, Word, Outlook email
• Process data, generate reports, and evaluate data
• Perform laboratory maintenance and maintain clean workspace
• Commitment to occasional overtime as workload requires

• Working schedule will be Full-Time, Second Shift, Tues-Sat 3pm-11pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given. 25% travel may be required. This position is NOT remote.
