COLAS ROADS UK is seeking an Environmental Manager in Birmingham to lead the Environmental Team, drive continuous improvement, and ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and related standards. You will mentor advisors, oversee governance, and build environmental capability across the organisation to meet legal and client requirements.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in environmental management for construction/highways, holds IEMA membership and an IEMA Certificate or equivalent, and possesses a full

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in environmental management within construction/highways/infrastructure.
• Practitioner membership of IEMA, CIWM, Energy Institute or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Environmental Team and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) and support ISO 50001 energy management.
• Provide training, guidance, and environmental assurance on legislation and best practice.
• Support carbon reduction, waste and resource management compliance, and environmental data reporting.
• Build stakeholder relationships and support tenders and client projects.
