Job summary

Resolute Group is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support major energy-sector projects from the ECI phase through to completion. Based in Inverness with hybrid working (3 days in the office/on site, 2 days from home), you will act as the environmental lead for permits, restrictions and environmental plans.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in an Environmental discipline, civil engineering, or equivalent practical experience focused on Environmental issues.
• Proven track record in an Environmental specific role.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, real-time environmental advice to site teams, balancing statutory requirements with programme delivery.
• Monitor live construction activities to ensure adherence to the Construction Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) and project consent conditions.
• Liaise with client representatives, statutory bodies, and environmental regulators including SEPA.
• Conduct regular site environmental inspections, audits, and compliance reporting across active worksites.
• Track environmental risks, constraints, and KPIs using data tools and site reporting systems to prevent project delays.
